It doesnt take much to realize that Boehner and company are doing to the country what Scott Walker and Republicans did to Wisconsin. They lied to people to get elected. Claim they wanted to get the country in order and get jobs coming in. IT ALL WAS A LIE AND A SCHEME.
Boehner and his crew just wanted to get elected so that they could then IGNORE the rights of all the citizens and put their own control systems into effect. Boehner, Cantor, Ryan and Mika intend to deprive senior citizens of their Medicare and Social Security, deprived WORKERS of collective bargaining, health care and retirement plans. They also mean to make minorities and young people UNABLE to vote.
They have help in this from their Corporate Masters who bought them their power and the Treasonous Mainstream Media who are too chickensh-t to the the facts about what is occurring in Congress and the nation.
As an example, I watched that Kelly O'Connell? person, the Congress reporter from msnbc being asked a question about what the Democratic Congress thought about the Debt Ceiling problem and President Obama's address to the nation. She started out telling the people ABOUT THE TEA PARTY AND THEIR POWER IN THE CONGRESS. She was also asked a question about what the White House's stance was on the process of the Debt Ceiling standoff. SHE AGAIN STARTED HER ANSWER WITH THE TEA PARTY AND BOEHNER'S CONTROL OF THE PROCESS.
At no time did she speak DIRECTLY AS TO WHAT THE PRESIDENT OR THE WHITE HOUSE WAS SAYING ABOUT ISSUE.
This to me shows exactly where the Media is in the problem. THEY CANT SEE ANY OTHER PEOPLE IN THIS DEBT CEILING AT ALL. The President doesnt exist and neither does Senator Reid.
We cant expect any objectivity from the Media. They are the source of the confusion in this nation because they have lost any ability to consider any other source except the Tea Party.
This same tunnel vision was in effect during the reign of GW. They were too scared to tell the truth about him or his policies. They were in deathly fear of Cheney and still are. They dont fear Democrats nor the President being they are not ruthless enough. They have threatened them with retaliation or any payback if they dare to say anything against them.
We are in danger of a complete Coup in Washington because the Press is derelict in their duty to the public out of fear for their jobs. They want to stay on the side of the Republicans because they know that thier Corporate owners will replace them with someone else who will do as they are tell.
We the people cant depend on the like of them or any of the people that sit around that Scarborough table even to Katrina V. from the Nation. She has lost her perspective also, by thinking the President can stand alone and make changes. HE CAN NOT. If people like her who have magazines are always condemniing him for not doing more yet they are not out their PROMOTING HIM IN THE PUBLIC, the President has not a chance of defeating the power of the entire Media.
It's always he should have said this or said that. They act like they have no memory of all of the problems that faced him since his election. THE RECESSION, THE OIL SPILL, THE FLOODS, THE FIRES, THE TORNADOS, GREECES FAILURE, IRELAND'S FAILURE. MEETINGS WITH OTHER HEADS OF STATE, THE START TREATY and CAPTURING AND KILLING BIN LADIN.
President Obama has been swamped with problems. Yet people who should be reminding folks of that are complaining because he didnt say everything they thought he should.
That Inebriated Blockhead Boehner, had the nerve to say he HAD THE SAME RESPONSIBILITY AS THE PRESIDENT. I DONT REMEMBER THAT BUTTHO-E BEING INVOLVED IN ANY OF THOSE ISSUES. HE DID NOTHING TO SOLVE THOSE PROBLEMS. HE AND HIS CONGRESS HAVE BEEN ON EXTENDED RECESSES WHEN THE PRESIDENT WAS ATTENDED TO THE PROBLEMS OF THE NATION.
This man has nothing like the responsibility of the President on his shoulders. He doesnt even have the loyalty to keep to his Oath of Office. His loyalty is to Grover Norquist and Rush Limbaugh. This fool, didnt have the GUTS to talk to the nation WITHOUT GETTING AN OK FROM LIMBAUGH.
I wish someone would make a flyer or chart of Boehner's actions these last 2 years in helping the nation. Take the dates of these incidents, show where the President was and Boehner was and the actions they took to solve the problems.
THAT WAY THE PEOPLE CAN SEE JUST WHO MEETS THEIR RESPONSIBILTY IN THEIR SPECIFIC JOBS AND IS KEEPING THEIR OATH OF OFFICE.
